These thoughtfully crafted dishes not only please the palate but also highlight the café's commitment to quality ingredients and satisfying flavors.
The atmosphere of Annie's Café is undeniably cozy, as noted by many patrons, including Christine Ann, who described the setting as "superb." “ A nice little cafe in Fish Creek. A great place to stop after a long bike ride! The sticky toffee pudding was fantastic! ”
“ Lots of seating outside for bikers,Walkers, not so much inside, but good selection of bakes, drinks and ices, great little rustic style building and internal cabin feel. No real catering for disabled buggies or chairs, although parking is approx 50yds away. Service is prompt and efficient and a little cut and dried and the place can be very busy so atmosphere tends to suffer a little. The art installation next door informative and interesting and the local plans for development will make a great difference to the local flora and fauna. Overall a great place to stop while passing through. ”
“ Can you believe I took my kids start biking from Glenfield in order to go to stop by at Annie's cafe for their reward! It's always been a nice area to rest in the summer afternoon. ”
“ Superb! Cozy cafe in the middle of the ranch ”
“ Went for a nice fall day walk in Fish Creek. Stopped for a delicious sandwich at Annie's like we always do. Wonderful old house, quaint interior architecture and great outdoor spots to sit and enjoy your meal. This is a real gem in Calgary. Its a short walk from the parking lot for those that have difficulty walking and for those who want to go for a short walk or hike there are several paths that you can discover. A few steps and you can be crossing a bridge and looking at a beautiful view of the river like the picture I took today. Its a favorite spot for photographers taking landscape pictures or family portraits. ”
“ Rather lovely spot. Nice to visit while walking about in Fish Creek. Classic cafe, little crowded but lots of outside space to sit. Had the ice cream which I quite enjoyed. Will have to revisit for a meal sometime. ”
“ Annie’s has been a part of our living in south Calgary since the 1990’s. We have been numerous times with our young sons, as a couple, with my girlfriends, with guests who are not from Calgary, with our adult sons, and now our grandchildren. Annie’s has become a part of our family’s fabric. Thank you for being! That place we can walk to or bike to for a coffee or lunch in the beautiful setting that is Fish Creek Park ”
“ Very friendly vibe, staff were kind and informative. Although I suspect this relic of a building is haunted (presumably by friendly ghosts) The smoked salmon bagel was most delicious. Worth a visit :) ”
